A 19-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a body was found in a marina in Devon, police have said.
The body was found in the water near Millbay Marina in Plymouth on Saturday afternoon during a search of the area, Devon and Cornwall Police said.
The body has not been formally identified, but police have informed the family of 24-year-old Drew Perham after he was reported missing on Saturday.
Mr Perham did not return home after a night out in the city.
Specialist officers are supporting Mr Perham’s family, the force said.

Detective Superintendent James Dowler said a ‘significant’ police presence will remain in the Millbay area in the coming days, adding that the investigation had been ‘fast paced’.

He said: ‘Formal identification is yet to take place, however, all of our thoughts are with Drew’s family and friends at this unbelievably difficult time.

‘Anyone who has information which may assist the police investigation is asked to please get in touch and report it.
‘We are particularly interested in people who may have been in the Millbay area between 1am and 4am during the early hours of Saturday January 24.’
